Die zentralen Lernstandserhebungen Klasse 8 treten nun an die Stelle der für Klasse 9. Wegen der Änderung gab es letztes Jahr keine zentralen Lernstandserhebungen Ein Grund für diesen Wechsel war, dass die Lernstandserhebungen zu dicht am zehnten Schuljahr mit den Abschlussprüfungen lagen. Das Ziel der zentralen Lernstandserhebungen ist es, den Schulen zu helfen, sich selbst zu überprüfen im Vergleich zu den Standards. 19. Mai 2008: Englisch
21. Mai 2008: Mathematik
The central comparative tests for Year 8 take the place of those for Year 9. Because of the change there weren’t any central comparative tests last year but this year they will resume. One reason why they were moved to Year 8 was that they were too close to Year 10 and the final examinations. The aim of the central comparative tests is to help schools evaluate how good they fare in comparison to standards.
