Schon Ende 2006 startete der Landtag NRW die Aktion „Lerne den Landtag kennen„. Ziel der Aktion ist es, dass Schulen ihre Homepage mit dem Landtag in NRW verlinken. Schülerinnen und Schüler in NRW sollen so angeregt werden, die Homepage des Landtages zu besuchen und sich über die Arbeit des Landesparlamentes sowie landespolitische Themen zu informieren. Viele Schüler wissen vermutlich wenig über den Landtag, da die große Politik in Berlin gemacht wird und in den Medien oftmals präsenter ist. In Kürze wird eine Gruppe von der KAS den Landtag in Düsseldorf besuchen, um sich vor Ort ein Bild von der parlamentarischen Arbeit zu machen. Ein Bericht und Bilder für die Homepage wurden in Aussicht gestellt.
At the end of 2006 the State Parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia launched the initiative „Lerne den Landtag kennen“ (Get to know your State Parliament). The initiative wants to encourage schools to link their homepages to the State Parliament. Students from North Rhine-Westphalia should be prompted to visit the homepage of the State Parliament and to look for information about the work of the State Parliament and topics concerning the politics of the state. Most likely the majority of students don’t know much about the State Parliament because big political decisions are made in Berlin and they are more present in media. Soon a group from KAS will visit the State Parliament in Duesseldorf to see for themselves how politics are made. A report and pictures for the homepage have been promised.
