Gestern und heute berief unser Schulleiter, Herr Winkelmann, unsere Schülerinnen und Schüler in die Aula ein, um zu ihnen zu sprechen. Am Mittwoch zitierte er alle Fünfer und Sechser in die Aula und am Donnerstag mussten die Achter bis Zehner antreten. Es gab natürlich einen Grund für die beiden Versammlungen. Seit einigen Wochen und Monaten verschmutzen eine Reihe von Schülerinnen und Schülern die Pausenhalle mit Verpackungsmaterial, Brötchenstücken und Salatblättern vom in der Cafeteria gekauften Frühstück. Es gibt eine Hausordnung, erinnerte Herr Winkelmann die Schüler. Außerdem benehmen sich nicht alle Schüler korrekt an den Bushaltestellen. Herr Winkelmann wieß darauf hin, dass wir seit elf Jahren keine ernsthaften Unfälle mehr im Schülerfahrverkehr hatten, vor allem wegen unserer Busbegleiter. Er hofft, dass es auch in Zukunft keine Unfälle geben wird. Er informierte die Schüler auch noch einmal darüber, dass bestellte Mittagessen, wenn sie nicht rechtzeitig abbestellt werden, falls Schüler nicht zum Nachmittag bleiben, vom Konto der Schüler abgezogen werden.
Yesterday and today our headmaster, Mr Winkelmann, called our students to the assembly to speak to them. On Wednesday he orderd all Year Five and Six students into the assembly and on Thursday it was Years Eight to Ten he had come. Of course there was a reason for these two assemblies. For the past weeks and months a number of students littered the entrance hall of our school and the school yard with wrappings, bread crumbs and lettuce leaves from the breakfast they bought at the cafeteria. We’ve got house rules, Mr Winkelmann reminded the students. Furthermore some students show unruly behavior at the bus-stops. Mr Winkelmann pointed out that there haven’t been any serious accidents of students with busses for 11 years mostly because of our student school bus monitors. He hopes that there won’t be any accidents in the future. Students were also informed that meals they ordered from the cafeteria and forget to cancel because the don’t stay for the afternoon will be charged to the student’s account.
