Am Donnerstag der letzten Woche veranstaltete ein örtliches Bankinstitut die Verleihung eines Sozialpreises auf einem Schiff auf dem Biggesee. Drei Gruppen erhielten Preise. Eine davon war von unserer Schule. 16 Schülerinnen und Schüler der Klasse 5.1 und ihr Klassenlehrer, Herr Nebel, Herr Berthold Schneider, der Organisator des Sponsorenwandertags, Leiter, Herr Winkelmann, und Familie waren an Bord des Schiffes der weißen Flotte. Unsere Schule erhielt den Sozialpreis für 15 Jahre Engagement im Dienste der Mitmenschlichkeit. Wir tun etwas für andere, die Hilfe benötigen, indem wir alljährlich Geld durch unseren Sponsorenwandertag zusammenbringen. Klasse 5.1, die dieses Jahr das meiste Geld sammelten, waren ausgewählt worden und Schule bei der Preisverleihung zu vertreten. On Thursday of last week a local money institute held a social awards ceremony on a ship on lake Biggesee. Three groups of people were presented with awards. One of them was from our school. 16 students of form 5.1 and their form teacher, Mr Nebel, Mr Berthold Schneider, who organizes the sponsored walk, our head, Mr Winkelmann, and family were on board the ship of the white fleet. Our school received the social award for 15 years of commitment in the service of humanity. We do something for others who need help by raising money for our annual sponsored walk. Form 5.1 which raised most money this year was chosen to represent our school at the ceremony.
