Gesundheit steht bei vielen Schulen, wie auch der unseren, schon seit Jahren auf der Tagesordnung, da es wichtig ist für Schüler und Lehrer. Deshalb hatte das Schulministerium eine Initiative namens OPUS ins Leben gerufen, ein Netzwerk von Schulen mit Gesundheitsbezug. Letztes Jahr ließ man OPUS auslaufen und jetzt tritt eine neue Initiative an seine Stelle. Sie nennt sich „Bildung und Schule“ und zielt darauf ab, Gesundheitsprogramme in Schulen zu etablieren. Schulen, die ihr Gesundheitsprogramm von der Initiative „Bildung und Schule“gefördert haben möchten, müssen sich an Regeln halten, die Transparenz und Überprüfbarkeit gewährleisten. Heute stellte eine der regionalen Koordinatorinnen des alten OPUS Netzwerkes und der neuen „Bildung und Schule“ Initiative, Frau Ilg-Möllers, in der Bibliothek der KAS interessierten Schulen die neue Initiative vor.
Health has been on the agenda of schools, like ours, for many years because it is important for students and teachers. That’s why the ministry of school had launched an initiative called OPUS, a network of schools which focused on health. Last year OPUS was phased out and right now a new initiative takes its place. It’s called „Education and Health“ and it aims at instituting health programs at schools. Those schools that want to get their health program funded by the initiative „Education and Health“ have to adhere to a set of guidelines to ensure transparency and accountability. Today one of the regional coordinators of the old OPUS network and the new „Education and Health“initiative, Mrs Ilg-Möllers, gave a presentation at our library to representatives of schools interested in the inititative.
