Letzte Woche wurde eine neue große Säge für die Technik angeliefert. Ein Lkw fuhr zum oberen Eingang beim Computerraum und entlud die Säge auf einer Palette. Sie wurde dann in den Flur vor dem Computerraum geschafft und stand dort eine Woche lang, roch nach frischem Lack und Öl. Heute begaben sich die Techniklehrer Plum und Schmidt daran, die Säge zum Vorbereitungsraum des Technikunterrichtes zu schaffen. Dies war kein leichtes Unterfangen, da die Säge mit 420 kg nicht eben leicht und handlich ist. Sie musste erst einmal von der Palette herunter. Alles, was zur Verfügung stand waren, ein Hubwagen, Holzblöcke und Werkzeuge. Mit viel Probieren und Hilfe von weiteren Personen war es möglich, die Säge, die etwa 10 € pro Kilo kostete, zu bewegen.
Last week a big saw was delivered for the department of practical wood and metal working. A lorry came to the upper entrance at the computer lab and unloaded the saw on its pallet. It was then moved into the hallway in to the computer lab where it sat idle for a week and filled the hallway with a smell of fresh paint and oil. Today two teachers of the department of practical wood and metal working hauled the saw to a room of their department. This was no easy undertaking because with 420 kg the saw is far from light weight and handy. First it had to moved down from the pallet. A that was at the teacher’s disposal were a hydraulic pallet truck, blocks of wood and some tools. With lots of trying and the helf of others it was possible to move the saw, which costs about 10 € per kilo.
