Für die Abgänger endete die Schule schon vor genau zwei Wochen. Heute war für alle anderen der letzte Schultag, jedoch nur für dieses Schuljahr. Drei Mitglieder des Kollegiums wurden verabschiedet und sind jetzt Rentner, Herr Grebe, Herr Gockel und Herr Wurm. Gestern gaben sie in der Schulbibliothek ihre große Abschiedfeier. Alle anderen, Schüler und Lehrer werden nach der Sommerpause wieder zurückkehren. Bevor jedoch alle in die Ferien aufbrechen konnten, gab es noch einiges zu tun. Klassenzimmer mussten für das große Reinemachen ausgeräumt werden. Alle Tische und Stühle waren auf die Flure zu räumen. Einige Klassen machten vor dem Ausräumen noch ein gemeinsames Frühstück. Letzte Amtshandlung des Tages war für die Lehrer die Ausgabe der Zeugnisse an ihre Schülerinnen und Schüler. Wir sehen uns alle wieder am 07. September 2011. For our graduates school ended exactly two weeks ago. Today was the last day of school for all the others but only of this school year. Three of our staff, Mr Grebe, Mr Gockel and Mr Wurm were retired and are now pensioners. Yesterday they gave their big farewell party in the school library. All the others, students and teachers, will come back after the summer break. Before everyone could head into the summer break they still had some work to do. Classrooms had to be cleared for a thorough cleaning. All tables and chairs had to be moved out to the hallway. Some forms also had a big breakfast in their classrooms before clearing them. Final act of the day for teachers was giving students their school reports. See you all back 7th September 2011.
