Dieses Jahr kamen nur die Achter in den Genuss einer Autorenlesung und er war der bei weitem jüngste Autor, der jemals unsere Schule besucht hat. Alexander Bothe schrieb das Buch, aus dem er las „Hidalgonia“ als 15-jähriger Schüler. Mit 713 Seiten ist der Roman sehr lang und brachte Alexander Bothe einige Bekanntheit als Jungautor ein. An unserer Schule las er für jede der drei Achterklassen einzeln. Jede Klasse hatte zwei Stunden, in welchen er erzählte, wie er das Buch schrieb und worum es in der Geschichte geht. Außerdem hatte er einige Kisten mit Büchern mitgebracht und bot sie zu einem reduzierten Preis an. Für nur 5 € konnten Schülerinnen und Schüler das Buch erwerben. Die KAS kauften zehn Exemplare für die Schülerbibliothek. Wer mehr von der erzählten Geschichte lesen möchte, kann sich dafür jetzt das Buch ausleihen.
This year only Year Eight had a reading by an author and he was by far the youngest author to ever visit our school. Alexander Bothe wrote the book he read from „Hidalgonia“ as a 15 year old student. With 713 pages this fantasy novel is very long and earned Alexander Bothe some fame as a young author. At our school he read for each of the three Year Eight forms separately. Each form was given two hours during which he told about how he wrote the book and about the story of the book too. Of course he also read from the book. As an extra he had brought some boxes full of books and he offered them at a special discount. For 5 € only students could buy the book. KAS also acquired ten copies for the school library.
