Die Physiker, ein Theaterstück von Friedrich Dürrenmatt, wurde von einer Theatergesellschaft aus Wien in der Aula unserer Schule aufgeführt. In der Zuschauerschaft saßen alle Klassen der Acht, Neun und Zehn. Die Schauspieler kamen nur eine halbe Stunde bevor sie auf die Bühne gingen. Aus ihrem kleinen Transporter holten sie alle Requisiten, welche sie für das Theaterstück benötigten. Einer der Schauspieler begrüßte die Schülerinnen und Schüler und gab eine kurze Einführung in das Theaterstück und die historische Situation, welche Friedrich Dürrenmatt dazu brachte, das Stück zu schreiben. Während der folgenden 70 Minuten wurden die Zuschauer Zeugen wie sich die Geschichte in den Mauern einer Irrenanstalt entfaltete von einem Mord und der Ermittlung zum nächsten Mord.
„The Physicists„, a play by Friedrich Dürrenmatt, was performed by a theatre company from Vienna in the assembly of our school. In the audience there were all forms of Years Eight, Nine and Ten. The actors had arrived only half an hour before they took the stage. From their little van they got all the props for the play. One of the actors then greeted the students and gave a short introduction to the play and the historical situation that lead Friedrich Dürrenmatt to write the play. During the following 70 minutes the audience witnessed how the story unfolded within the walls of a home for the mentally ill from one murder and the investigation to the second murder.
