Wir sind eine bewegte Gesellschaft, eine Gesellschaft von Autofahrern und Autos benötigen Platz zum Parken. Parken war am Schulzentrum Wenden, wo sich die KAS befindet, immer ein Thema. Es gab einmal Parkplätze für Lehrer und Angestellte auf dem Schulhof. Später wurden Autos aus Sicherheitsgründen vom Schulhof verbannt. Der Parkplatz, welcher vor dem Schulhof gebaut wurde, reichte schon seit Jahren nicht mehr für alle Lehrer. Ein zusätzlicher Parkplatz wurde angeboten. Manchmal ist dieser geschotterte Parkplatz so voll mit Autos, dass der Platz für weitere Autos nicht ausreicht. Was viele am Schotter nicht mochten, waren die großen Schlaglöcher, der Staub, wenn es heiß ist und der Schlamm, wenn es nass ist. Die Zeiten mit Schotter nähern sich nun dem Ende, denn dieser Parkplatz wird jetzt gepflastert. Für die Autofahren werden das gute Nachrichten sein.
We are a mobile society, a society of car users and cars need space for parking. Parking has always been an issue at Schulzentrum Wenden where KAS is located. At times there was parking for teachers and staff at the school yard. Later cars were banned from the school yard for safety reasons. The parking lot built in front of the school yard has for years been too small to offer parking for all teachers. An additional space was offered. Sometimes this graveled lot is filled with cars so that even this space doesn’t suffice for more cars. What many people don’t like about the gravel are the large potholes, the dust when the weather is hot and the mud when it’s wet. These days the times of gravel come to an end because this parking area is now being paved. To all motorists this will be great news.
