Von Dienstag bis Donnerstag fand an der KAS ein dreitägiger Lehrgang für Mofakursleiter statt. Etwa 15 Lehrerinnen und Lehrer nahmen an der Ausbildung teil, welche aus theoretischen und praktischen Anteilen bestand. Das Ziel des Kurses war, die zukünftigen Kursleiter zu befähigen, Schülern alles beizubringen, was sie benötigen, um die Prüfung für den Mofaführerschein abzulegen. Bevor jedoch die Kursteilnehmer ihre Prüfung ablegen konnten, mussten sie eine Menge lernen. Abgedeckt wurden die Verkehrssicherheitserziehung, die Planung und Durchführung von Mofakursen, die Vorbereitung und Durchführung von Prüfungen zum Mofaführerschein, Erste Hilfe am Unfallort, Verkehrsrecht, Technik von Mofas, technische Veränderung von Mofas und deren rechtliche Konsequenzen, Schutzkleidung und vieles mehr. Der Kurs wurde von Moderatoren im Auftrag der Bezirksregierung Arnsberg durchgeführt.
From Tuesday till Thursday there was a threeday course for motor scooter driving instructors to be at KAS. About 15 teachers from different schools took part in the training which consisted of theory and practical experience. The aim of the course was to enable these future instructors to teach students everything they need to know to take the driving test for a motor scooter driver’s licence. Before the course participants could take their test they had to learn a lot. Covered were road safety education, planning and execution of motor scooter courses, preparation and execution of the tests for aquiring the diver’s license for motor scooters, first aid, traffic law, mechanics of motor scooters, technical manipulation of motor scooters and the law, protective clothing and much more. The course was taught by instructors on the behalf of the regional administration of Arnsberg.
