Manchmal muss jemand zur richtigen Zeit das Richtige lesen und dann handeln. Im Sommer, während der Sommerferien, fand Frau Schäfer, die mit der Bibliothek und der Leseförderung zu tun hat, das Projekt Futurino. Das Projekt wird von Henkel, einem multinationalen Konzern aus Deutschland betrieben, der in diesem Jahr seinen einhundertsten Geburtstag feiert. Projekt Futurino wollte Möglichkeiten zur Förderung von Bildung und Entwicklung für Kinder und Jugendliche unterstützen. Von allen Bewerbern wollte man 100 auswählen. Frau Schäfer beantragte einen Zuschuss aus den insgesamt 1 Million Euros. Es gab fast 2500 Bewerbungen. 197 Projekte wurde von eine unabhängigen Jury ausgewählt und wir waren darunter. Wir erhielten 4785 €, die wir für unser Projekt zur Leseförderung und die Bücher, die wir für das Projekt benötigen, ausgeben werden. Das Geld ist schon auf unserem Konto und wir haben das erste Paket bereits bestellt. Bis zum Ende des Jahres wollen wir die Bibliothek wieder gut befüllt haben, so dass es eine gute Auswahl gibt für die Schülerinnen und Schüler der Klassen fünf und sechs. Wir sagen „Danke“ an Henkel.
Sometimes someone has to read the right thing at the right time and then act. In summer during the summer break Mrs Schäfer who is involved with the library and promotion of reading skills found Projekt Futurino. The project is run by Henkel, a big multinational company from German, that celebrates its one-hundred’s birthday this year. Projekt Futurino wanted to support opportunities for education and development for children and teenagers in Germany. Out of all applications Henkel,planned to chose exactely 100. Mrs Schäfer applied for a grant out of the 1 million Euro fund. There were nearly 2500 applications as we learned, 197 projects were chosen by an independent jury and we are among them. We were granted 4785 € which we will spend on our project to promote reading skills and the books for our library that go with the project. The money is already in our bank account and we’ve ordered the first batch of books. By the end of the year our libray should be replenished again so that there is a good choice for students of the Years 5 and 6. We say „Thank you“ Henkel.
